An indispensable role… Huron clients approach us with a unique set of challenges. Higher Education Strategy & Operations Associates play an integral client-facing project or work-stream leadership role. While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Associate can expect to spend their time follows: 80% will be allocated to material client interaction through all project phases, project management, intensive data-analysis and the identification of the “so-what’s” therein, and to creating compelling client-ready presentations and; 20% will be spent developing Analysts and coachees when assigned, participating in practice development and, carrying out routine administrative tasks. Qualifications



Required


  • Some experience serving as a Controller, Accountant, Auditor, Assurance, or Financial Reporting capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience in Human Resources and/or Compensation
  • A passion for higher education
  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Post-pandemic willingness and ability to travel up to 50%; work extended hours as necessary.
  • Experience in overall compensation program implementation and pay analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, higher education, or human resources
  • Significant experience in accounting and finance roles within the consulting or higher education industry
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management


The estimated base salary range for this job is $95,000 - $125,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $106,400 - $147,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
