Construction Superintendent Jobs

QDI Construction, Inc. is a full service General Construction company headquartered in Tampa, FL specializing in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) development throughout the State of Florida. We are currently looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role will supervise day-to-day construction activities on projects throughout Florida.

A qualified candidate should have at least four (4) years of experience in residential or commercial construction. The ability to read and comprehend blueprints and plans, and experience running the day-to-day activities of a construction site are required. Previous experience working with restaurant construction is a plus.

In Addition, The Qualified Candidate Should Have

• Outstanding time management and project organization skills.
• The ability to work weekends and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, construction scheduling, and ADA codes.
• Verifiable history of bringing projects to completion on time and within budget, while maintaining workmanship that conforms to all specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an impeccable attention to detail.
• The ability to translate information from site/building plans and effectively communicate that information to crew personnel and subcontractors.
• A strong, dedicated work ethic, with a track record of operating with integrity.
• Proven safety track record, with the ability to review jobsites for potential safety hazards and determine appropriate corrective actions.
