Job Summary

A Construction Project Coordinator is needed for a leading manufacturing organization near Plano, TX. The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible to oversee general contractors, testing agencies, budgets, and schedules for Construction projects. Daily tasks include administering construction contracts, monitoring plan compliance, and conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with our construction safety program. Additionally, you will oversee contractor activities to support project schedule and KPIs and present status reports to the owner.

Qualified candidates must have construction project management experience, effective organizational and communication skills, and construction cost estimating and scheduling experience. You should be proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and MS Project (ability to create, update, and manage schedules). A BS degree is required. This is a long-term contract role, and our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of contractor activities to support project schedule and KPIs
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor plan compliance
• Conduct safety audits in compliance with construction safety program
• Present status reports to the owner
• Manage general contractors, testing agencies, budgets, and schedules in support and coordination of overall Environmental & Facilities construction projects
• Administer construction contracts
• Receive, review, and coordinate contract changes into project delivery
