Job Description
Town and Country is seeking a motivated and qualified Construction Coordinator to join our team. Are you a self-starter interested in making things happen? Do you enjoy a busy work environment? Do you have construction experience?


Permabilt Industries, Inc. with its Town & Country Post Frame Buildings Division is the largest post frame building contractor in Western Washington. Since 1973, a specialization in design and construction of post and wood frame, steel-covered buildings have brought Town & Country to a level of quality and workmanship few can surpass. Town & Country has produced over 23,000 structures to date. This is a high volume, quality, and service-oriented position.


The Role


As the Construction Coordinator you will be responsible for aiding the construction team within the office in all aspects of construction from pre-construction to project end. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong work drive. Construction knowledge is not required. A successful candidate will have the ability to communicate to multiple departments, highly organized, and great time management skills.

Duties


  • Negotiating pricing with vendors.
  • Coordination of material deliveries.
  • Interacting with inspectors and jurisdictions.
  • Communication with customers.
  • Recruitment and negotiation with new sub-contractors.
  • Scheduling and interacting with sub-contractors to meet production deadlines.


Requirements


  • Act decisively, be flexible, and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated planning skills and be able to effectively schedule tasks, meet deadlines.
  • Minimum two years construction administration experience working in a fast-paced environment or equivalent education.
  • Computer literate, fluent in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Must demonstrate assertive and attentive communication skills, both written and verbal.
