Position Description

Ecompex is hiring a Construction Manager to provide project engineering oversight for a construction project at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. The Construction Manager will work with the A/E contractor to complete a two-story consolidated elementary/middle school as well as demolishing the existing building.

Work will be full-time, on-site.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction management software, Resident Management System (RMS3)
• At least 5 years of experience as a construction project manager performing quality control, construction management and inspection, and working with multiple contractor parties.
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation to be placed in a position of Public Trust.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with federal agencies, including Air Force
• Experience working on Military Construction (MILCON) or FSRM projects

Required Skills

• Strong communication, written, and verbal skills
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Word, Excel
• Ability to research, analyze data/trends, and present to executive level leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and input to the Resident Engineer
• Support three-phase inspection meetings
• Develop scope of work documents and status reports
• Conduct Quality Control and review Quality Assurance reports
• Maintain project schedule and ensure milestones are met on time
• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings
