Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Superintendent with a mid to senior level of experience in high-end residential construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to drive project success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire construction process, from pre-construction planning to project completion, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

• Monitor and manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is proceeding according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

• Address any issues or challenges that may arise during construction, making real-time decisions to ensure project progress.

• Collaborate with project managers to review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guarantee accurate execution.

• Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide project updates and address concerns.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site to create a secure working environment.

• Manage documentation and record-keeping, including daily logs, progress reports, and other relevant paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Mid to senior level of experience in high-end residential construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

• Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Computer literacy and proficiency in construction management software is a plus.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $85,000 to $105,000 (commensurate with experience)

• Company Laptop/iPad provided

• Company Vehicle provided

• Bonus Package: Up to $18,500 (based on project performance and individual contributions)

• Commission – Change order profit above 40% will be split amongst project team at completion of each project. Commissions will be calculated 60 days after PSO sign off.

• Profit Sharing – Starting in 2023 a pool will be established for all employees with at least 5 years of service. The profit sharing formula for each employee will be based on years of service and total percentage of overall payroll. Profit is net profit after all expenses including all overhead related items. Profit sharing dollars will be distributed one month after completion of the calendar year.
