Construction Manager Jobs

The Construction Manager is an on-site position with a wood products client in the Carthage, TX area. The selected candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction projects at the wood products manufacturing facility. This includes both new construction and renovation projects. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for managing one or more outages throughout the duration of the project.
Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all construction projects.
• Recruit, select, and supervise construction crews.
• Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• Interact with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Compile and submit project reports to management.

Qualifications
Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be able to commute to the Carthage, TX area on a daily basis, or be willing to temporarily relocate during the work-week for the life-cycle of the contract.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction management.
• Proven experience managing construction projects during outages or shutdowns.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
