Job Description

Exciting New Senior Living Community (Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care) Opening Soon! The concierge is a key member of our community operations. The concierge is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, and vendors in a warm and professional manner. This candidate must monitor all visitors entering the building and securing the proper sign-ins. The concierge candidate is also responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and responding swiftly to all communication needs and inquiries. This candidate will also be supporting the Sales and Marketing team. They will also assist the Business Office Manager with various projects and/or assignments.

The concierge will report to both the Business Office Manager and Sales and Marketing - and uphold the community’s mission, philosophy, values and the Company’s vision, principles and Hospitality Promises to residents, families, and all visitors. Anticipated start date is mid-May, 2023.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:

  • Completing computer tasks, such as inputting residents’ data, maintaining databases and creating documents to be shown on the community’s television channel.
  • Assumes responsibilities for personal work areas and maintaining areas in a presentable manner.
  • Embraces Extraordinary Impressions best practices in the community and influences hospitality focused environment throughout the community.
  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
  • Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, or employees in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Always follow Resident Rights policies.
  • Consistently work cooperatively with residents, families, co-workers.
  • Observe all community policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing and/or Executive Director/Business Office Manager in an effective, timely and professional manner.
  • Assure resident / family safety and satisfaction.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associate degree, preferred.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
