Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, is seeking a Part-time Concierge Representative to join our administrative team ! The schedule consists of weekdays, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., and/or weekends, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. About Riddle Village and Our Employees: Riddle Village offers the best value among life care communities in the Delaware Valley. About the Concierge Representative Position: The Concierge Representative is responsible for all incoming phone calls, directs these calls to the proper parties, and takes and distributes messages. Greets and directs all visitors and greets and assists all residents. The various duties performed for the residents are work order requests, accepting packages and notifying the resident of any package deliveries, making copies, and sending fax messages to the residents. The concierge maintains records on resident information, phone numbers, lists of residents who have signed housekeeping and certified mail release, and other information. The concierge has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and the facility paging system. If you are friendly, sociable, organized, and love the elderly, this may be a job for you! The responsibilities of the Concierge Representative also include but are not limited to the following: Answering all incoming phone calls directs all calls to the proper party. Cover phone continually. Greeting visitors and residents in a friendly and helpful manner. Give directions and answer questions to the best of your ability. Making copies, sending fax messages to residents, and maintaining a charging log for these services. Completing work order tickets for any maintenance or housekeeping services according to the requests of the residents, as needed Accept packages for residents from US mail and UPS and notify the resident of their arrival. Arranging for delivery of packages to the resident if the resident requests or if package size requires delivery. Assisting the Director of Administrative Services in maintaining resident information records and maintaining the list and the Courtesy Check-In list each week. Run the Courtesy Check-In report each morning at 9:15 and notify the nurse of anyone that has not checked in. Performing other related or non-related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergency or other specific situations. Make all guest room reservations, complete all related paperwork, and then distribute the paperwork to the proper departments. Maintaining the resident phone directory and assisting in the quarterly distribution of this directory. Maintaining the fire drill lists for each building. Performing other related or non-related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergency or other specific situations. Maintaining the miscellaneous charge book and giving the information to Accounting at the end of each month. Maintaining the records of residents away or in the hospital and distributing the records to the proper departments. Job Requirements: Must have graduated high school/GED equivalent Must be able to follow oral and written instruction Must display excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel Must be flexible with filling in for call-outs and other shift vacancies Job Posted by ApplicantPro
