Computer Systems Analyst - Entry Level

Jazz Solutions is seeking an entry level Computer Systems Analyst. This is a fully remote role within the continental USA.

Specific Duties to Perform:

• Managing the incident response process, including documenting, communicating issues, managing analysis, and reporting through the completion
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues.
• Works closely with mid-level and senior engineers
• Provide training to peers.
• Ability to understand system application functionality and how it integrated systems/applications.
• Ability to be an incident manager by bringing teams together to troubleshoot.
• Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
• Support cross-system troubleshooting efforts on behalf of the supported systems.
• Prepare accurate and daily system status reports.
• Support all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle, including the concept of operations planning, requirements development, analyses of alternatives, modeling, independent verification and validation (IV&V), and deployment.
• Monitor and manage system reports through Amazon CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray
• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal or external teams.
• Initial contact point for supported systems
• Support development, senior engineering, and security for application and system updates
• Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Position Qualifications/Experience/Education:

• Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT (Information Technology) Help Desk Technician, or similar role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn innovative technology quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with ReadyApi or Postman or some other API (Application Programming Interfaces) testing tool
• ReadyApi, Postman, or other API testing tool experience
• Excellent communications skills
• Bachelor?s degree in systems Engineering or related technical and 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of working with systems.
• Entry-level knowledge of systems engineering processes.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with the AWS platform (Preferred)
• SQL and basic database knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies

Desired Qualifications:

• Design and Implementation of Relational Databases and Historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with web development technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, .NET, etc.)
