The Job at a Glance

As our Computer Repair Technician, you will assist with inspecting, testing, diagnosing and repairing faults with notebooks and tablets that are sent into Encompass Supply Chain Solutions for repair.

A Typical Day
  • Ensure all Quality Assurance procedures are implemented and closely followed.
  • Diagnose and repair faults with notebooks and tablets.
  • Practice Electrostatic Discharge protocols in accordance to established policies.
  • Conduct inspection and test of received products.
  • Support other operational objectives when needed.
To Land This Opportunity
  • You have High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • You have 2+ years of experience of notebook repair (a plus, not a must!).
  • You enjoy solving problems and every detail has your full attention.
  • You are a tech gig – your nightstand books are technical manuals, instructions, and procedures.
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  • You know how soldering components work.
  • You are able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • You love LEGO at all times – assembly and disassembly just make it more fun!
  • You love exercising – sitting and standing for prolonged hours are just a part of it!
  • You thrive in a high technology test and repair environment.
  • You are Apple Diagnostics, GSX expert (or expert-to-be!)
