Service Care, Inc. of Birmingham, AL is currently hiring for an eager full-time entry-level Repair Tech / Appliance Technician to assist on the field and learn everything they can about this skilled trade. This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive starting wage of $2,500 - $3,000, which increases by $0.50 per hour, with each apprentice-level passed. Requirements For a Repair Tech / Appliance Technician

As an entry-level Repair Tech / Appliance Technician, you work hard, pay close attention to what you're being taught, and emulate the values we adhere to. You learn our software and procedures, then start training for your first appliance type. After training is complete, you go out in the field with experienced techs and assist them with working on that appliance. They mentor and train you on everything from client relations to effectively troubleshooting and servicing.

With more experience, you are ready to go on the road and work on that appliance for customers. After all repairs, you communicate how to properly operate and maintain new equipment to each client. When jobs are completed, you fill out necessary documentation about recommendations, repairs, readings, and observations. Once you've mastered this appliance type, you are trained on the next appliance and the process continues until you are a Master Technician! You also spend some of your time taking classes to expand your knowledge and skills. You enjoy helping the team and can't wait to advance in this essential and rewarding career!

• Valid Alabama driver's license with a good driving record
• Willingness to travel for training and some service
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to move appliances and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Familiarity with smartphones, tablets, and computers
