Computer Aided Design Designer

Studio A Landscape Architecture and Engineering, DPC is actively seeking a CAD Designer for immediate employment.This job offering provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in Studio A’s Landscape Architecture & Engineering D.P.C’s firm.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Drafting Concept Plans from hand sketches, GIS Data, Aerial images
• Drafting Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document level drawings
• Drafting revisions from Principals, Project Managers, client, and/or municipal review comments
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports and presentations
• Calculate basic dimensions, material quantities, and square footages as well prepare quantity take-off’s

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and other similar material
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals for the production of technical details, drawings, and models with attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and maintain Studio A CAD standards and systems
• Minimum of Associate’s Degree or Technical School Diploma/Certificate Computer-Aided Design Technology
• Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus
• Ability to work independently and participate and collaborate in a project team setting
