Who You Are
We are currently seeking a talented Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Analyst. The position, executes independent testing under proper supervision and in compliance with the Enterprise Testing program methodology to ensure departmental processes and activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. This person will compile and retain well documented work papers, allowing for creation of accurate and concise written reports including issues, root cause and recommended corrective action.
What You'll Do
  • Reviews issues and findings to provide effective challenge and quality of supporting documentation.
  • Conducts under appropriate supervision, independent testing to ensure operational risks and compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Executes the steps needed to test and/or analyze compliance with complex policies/procedures and laws/regulations.
  • Prepares detailed and objective work papers to support conclusions.
  • Identifies potential control weaknesses and makes recommendations to remediate issues.
What You'll Need
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience independently testing for compliance and/or operational risks or auditing.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying federal and state laws and regulations and guidance or operational risk principles/concepts.
  • CPA, CIA, CFSA, CFE, CRCM
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience within a banking, insurance, or other financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of testing techniques and data analysis principles, as well as the ability to interpret subsequent results.
  • Knowledge in building, testing, and evaluating the adequacy of internal control design and operating effectiveness.
