Community Nurse Educator Jobs

Position Description
The Community Clinical Educator provides education in community events such as, but not limited to, Sudden Impact and Wellness for Life. Educates the adolescent population to promote seat belt usage, demonstrate the consequences to driving impaired and educate on effective countermeasures to driving distracted. The purpose of this position is to perform as a Sudden Impact Instructor for Terrebonne Parish schools and perform education of health and wellness initiatives in our community.
Qualifications

• BLS certified, instructor level for BLS preferred. If not certified as an instructor, must attain within 12 months of hire.
• 3 years hospital care experience in clinical area required.
• Knowledge of Audiovisual equipment set up and use preferred.
• Emergency Room, Surgery or treatment of brain Injury preferred.
• Experience as an educator preferred.
• Current license to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of Louisiana is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
