Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Under the direction of Community Link's Director of Homeless to Housing Services, provide Housing Coordinators and Housing Caseworkers with the leadership and direction necessary to provide effective delivery of services to customers experiencing homelessness. Collaborate with and establish positive relationships with human services providers. Manage Homeless to Housing programs and ensure the appropriate utilization of community resources. Measure staff performance and progress and provide actionable feedback to team members. Provide oversight of effective customized case plan development. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Director of Homeless to Housing Services Supervises: Housing Coordinator and Housing Caseworkers Key Activities: Program Management: Oversee daily operations of programs, including approving and logging web invoices and payments Implement and modify programs to ensure favorable outcomes Supervision: Train, supervise, and evaluate team members Conduct routine staff meetings and provide one-on-one supervision to all team members Monitor remote staff's weekly reports, ensuring customer data is uploaded and complete Provide, track, and measure professional development of team members Provide insight and actionable feedback to team members regarding customer's circumstances Administration: Effectively manage and monitor all program budgets Responsible for quarterly database reviews and annual program evaluations Update and circulate agency weekly report Participate in grant application process and reporting for programs Track and forecast financial assistance using excel spreadsheets Prepare program reports utilizing the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) software, including HUD's Annual Progress Report (APR) Compliance: Understand and adhere to program policies and procedures Ensure the organization is prepared for local, state and federal audits and compliance reviews Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with human service agencies and other community service providers Attend community stakeholder meetings Position Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk and hear Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Minimum Requirements: Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred Experience
  • 4- 6 years of case management experience. 2 or more years in a notable leadership experience Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience with all aspects of management, including interviewing, program development, team building, and team conflict resolution.
