As a Community Health Educator 2, you will maintain expert knowledge of your specified field and identify national trends as they apply to the population. To help achieve our mission, you will perform necessary administrative functions in accordance with program policies. Providing educational instruction for community health education classes and programs is required.

Requirements
Education: HS Diploma or GED, Associates preferred
Experience: 0-1 year of experience in teaching or providing health education programs
Certification: CPR through the American Heart Association
Job Responsibilities
- Returns supplies and evaluations to program coordinator or manager upon completion of class.
- Properly utilizes educational materials and visual teaching aids to enhance program effectiveness 90 percent of the time.
- Provides instruction based on specified program curriculum 90 percent of the time.
- Demonstrates good instructional, communication and interpersonal skills 90 percent of the time.
- Understands the basic learning requirements of the grade school, adolescent and/or adult learner.
- Attends program staff meetings on a regular basis. Obtains necessary supplies, equipment and forms prior to class.
