Job Description
Job Title: Community Engagement & Legends Coordinator


Department: Community Engagement


Reports To: Vice President of Community Engagement & Legends


FLSA Status: Exempt


Summary


The Community Engagement & Legends Coordinator will facilitate and support a variety of initiatives including a significant focus on the Legends Community and supporting Players year-round in the community. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Vice President of Community Engagement & Legends and will provide general support for the Community Engagement department.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Research and Identify opportunities for Player and Legend community grants available through NFL Foundation
  • Partner with the Player Engagement department to identify ways to connect Legends with current Players throughout the year through mentorship or other learning opportunities
  • Assist in the execution of marquee events including Legends Spring Event, Rumble at the Ridge, Legends Holiday Gift Giveaway and Legends Weekend
  • Provide administrative support for the Community department including but not limited to, 12 Fan Suite, charitable cash donations, auction tables, community email, CRM, promotional materials, legal contracts and gameday tickets and sideline passes
  • Assist in the selection and recognition process for the Seahawks nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year and Seahawks Legend of the Year awards
  • Manage and distribute Legends Suite and stadium tickets for Seahawks home games, coordinating all gameday appearances for Legends and supporting special gameday recognitions and ceremonies including Legends Live, Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor
  • Facilitate connecting Players and Legends with sponsorship opportunities through the Corporate Partnership department, coordinating appearances with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings with external guests, including reserving meeting rooms, greeting guests and preparing elements for the meetings
  • Manage and closely monitor programs and events to ensure expenses fit within allocated budget, tracking expenses on a regular basis in the Community department budget
  • Support other Community programs and events and handle special requests and projects, as assigned
  • Provide administrative and office support to Vice President of Community Engagement & Legends including fielding incoming calls, handling email and email correspondence, complete expense reports, photocopy documents, ship packages and coordinate details of speaking engagements and travel itineraries, as needed
  • Identify opportunities throughout the year to engage Players and Legends in our Community with non-profit organizations and through their own foundations, collaborating closely with the Player Engagement department
  • Create a regular cadence of communication with the Legends community through emails, calls, texts and more. Partner with Digital Media department on Legends social media accounts
  • Manage, track and report on player and legend engagement through CRM, Tableau and internal reports
  • Work closely with Marketing to facilitate and create content and coverage plans in Wrike for Community and Legend events and programs
  • Welcome Legends as they come back to Seattle, ensuring they always feel connected with the team
  • Support other internal departments including Game Presentation, Premium, Ticketing and more by identifying and coordinating with Players and Legends for key events and programs, ensuring a consistent, positive experience at all appearances
  • Build and maintain key relationships with Seahawks Legends Community throughout the year, assisting in innovating current programs each year to ensure the Seahawks Legends program is the best in the NFL
  • Support players in the offseason through their youth football camps, community work and other initiatives


Required Educations, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Manage changing priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Tableau and Wrike preferred but not required
  • Minimum of one year of community and/or event program experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and creatively solve day-to-day challenges
  • Excellent computer skills - master of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to adapt to different environments and working cultures

  • The salary range for this position is: $65,500 – $70,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
