Commercial Real Estate Manager - Urgent Care

VCA is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Manager to join the team! In this role you will be responsible for managing the acquisition, development, and leasing of commercial properties for an organization. This critical role will support VCA hospitals in a designated Business Division and will report directly to the Vice President of Real Estate.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of existing properties
• Conducting market research and analysis
• Developing and implementing leasing and marketing strategies
• Other job duties as assigned.
• Managing relationships with tenants and landlords
• Staying informed of industry trends and market conditions
• Keeping abreast of local zoning and land use regulations
• Negotiating leases and purchase agreements
• Identifying and evaluating potential commercial real estate opportunities
• Preparing and managing budgets and financial reports
• Managing the development and construction of new properties

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a multi-unit organization.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field such or relevant professional skills and experience / Master’s degree preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of local zoning and land use regulations

• Strong analytical and financial skills, including proficiency in financial analysis software

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong understanding of market trends and conditions

• Strong understanding of real estate development and construction processes

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Preferred experiences in multi-unit organizations (e.g. retail, healthcare or services)

Additional Information

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $112,700 - $150,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
