The Data Analyst supports the commercial function by ensuring commercial data is maintained and accurate in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and reporting is optimized for key and critical insights. This person will support Commercial Technology by developing and implementing tools and processes to drive increasing sales and support data cleanliness through data and process updates. They will work in conjunction with the Sales Management team to provide tools to measure commercial goals through processed and self-service reporting. The Data Analytics Lead role is important to developing and growing a world-class sales organization, which will help position the company for continued growth and success.


As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be:


  • Perform Administrative CRM tasks such as: User Activation, User Deactivation
  • Drive deeper insight into sales trends and new areas of opportunity by providing analysis of appropriate data, including but not limited to:
  • Sales lifecycle
  • Review booking and opportunity information accuracy throughout the organization with specific and appropriate handoffs to the contracts and finance departments.
  • Process Data updates to improve data accuracy in the commercial systems
  • Execute and enforce, when required, existing CRM processes to provide the Finance function increased visibility and easy access to compensation payment data.
  • Other tasks as defined by the Director, Commercial Technology, or the VP, Commercial Operations.
  • Booking analysis
  • Analyze and complete reoccurring CRM and Commercial Data maintenance such as: Territory Model updates, Account Alignment, Opportunity Ownership, Quota Assignment
  • Working within the Sales, Commercial Operations, and Marketing management functions of the business to monitor and measure sales performance against plan on an ongoing basis providing regular updates to internal stakeholders as necessary.

  • Work with the Commercial Enablement Team on CRM updates and follow User Testing Scripts/Ad Hoc testing to validate system updates
  • Customer/account/contact info


You’ll need to bring :


  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales Analytics
  • Ability to collaborate across and within departments
  • Ability to follow multi-step tasks and summarize results
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Self-motivator and starter
  • Able to communicate fluently and concisely across a range of cultures
  • The ability to work in a high-growth environment where change is constant
  • Strong intellect and business acumen


Decision-Making and Influence


This individual will have a proven track record of operating as part of a successful sales and marketing organization. An ability to understand the sales function from a process perspective is important.
