A Bit About Us


Heavy Equipment client is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager (CAM). The CAM is responsible for the sale, rental, and leasing of all new and used equipment and allied products. The CAM will be responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential clients to grow equipment market share in their given territory. Job Details


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Commercial Account Manager (CAM) to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outside sales and equipment sales experience, specifically with John Deere equipment. As a CAM, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold calling to develop new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing rental assistance demonstration to customers. You will be working with a variety of clients in the residential and commercial construction, heavy construction, road building, aggregate and mining industries.


Responsibilities


  • Manage existing accounts and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
  • Provide rental assistance demonstration to customers to ensure they are utilizing equipment effectively


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of the Construction Equipment, Compact Equipment, and Material Processing Equipment industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in commercial account management
  • Familiarity with Wirtgen Group road construction equipment, LeeBoy, excavators, wheel loaders, paving, and sweepers
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales and equipment sales, specifically with John Deere equipment
