Position: College Admissions Advisor

Scope –

In this role, you will reach out to prospective students via phone; take incoming calls and place outbound calls in a call center fashion, interview prospective students to determine their motivation for attending college, understand career goals and identify the degree-program that best matches their needs, present information about the benefits of education at the University, tailoring their message to student's needs, motivation, and career goals, and guide prospective students through the admissions process, respond to questions, link them to financial aid and academic advisors, gather the documents necessary to start school, and ensure students complete admissions testing.

Position Details:

• This position is Contract to Hire
• Hours: The department is open Mon through Sun from 8am-8pm. An 8 hour shift will be set between the open department hours which is typically first shift
• Must have availability for one late night a week and one weekend every month to be flexible for students
• This is a remote opportunity

Position Requirements:

• Comfortable with MS Office
• Able to quickly learn new computer systems and databases, craft well-written, compelling messages to students/fellow colleagues, and work in a team and goal-oriented environment
• A passion for higher education and the desire to help prospective students reach their goals
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
