Job Overview:
To collect payments or offer payment solutions on past due accounts in an effort to reduce losses. Work assigned accounts from 60 to 120 days past due, while handling inbound and outbound call volume servicing Car/Van accounts. Discuss and make arrangements for qualifying customers when needed. Be a consultant to our customers while providing them an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:

• When contact is a challenge, perform skip tracing to locate clients and collateral by obtaining phone numbers and address for delinquent customers through authorized means (including, but not limited to the following actions):
• Offer feedback and recommendations on processes currently in place and training reference materials. (5%)
• Updating customer demographic information
• In depth location of customers via internet resources
• Present recommendations to management regarding the final resolution for un-collectible accounts (15%)
• Collect delinquent payments from customers via phone pay, Quick Collect and mail, while adhering to regulatory requirements. Negotiate payment solutions on delinquent accounts when the customer cannot make an immediate payment. Provide superior customer service to both external and internal customers with phone courtesy providing appropriate follow-up, ensuring a Customer One approach is taken. (50%)
• Appropriate usage/assignment of vendors (skip trace vendor, repo vendor) (30%)

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position requires 1 year of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

• Customer Service - 1 year of experience
• Business (General) - 1 year of experience
• Collections - 1 year of experience

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) Is Required, Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred.
Additional Knowledge:

• 1 year of skip tracing experience is preferred
• 2 years of collections experience is preferred

Additional Skills:

• Team player

• Driven & Self-motivated

Sign-On Bonus Statement:
In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a one-time $5,000 signing bonus to be paid upon receipt of your first paycheck (depending on payroll cut-off dates). Should your employment with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC terminate for any reason other than death or disability, within 1 year from your first day of work, you agree to repay the signing bonus received prior to your date of termination. You voluntarily authorize Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC to deduct from your wages and any other monies Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC may owe you to recover all or part of the signing bonus.
