Job Details For Remote Collections Customer Service Rep

• Computer equipment provided
• Pay Rate: $16 hour
• Schedule: Full time 40 hours week. Hours will be two days 8am-4pm, two nights 1pm-9pm and Friday's 8am-3pm. Will be required to work at least two Saturday's a month and will work a half day during the week when that occurs.
• Fully remote position but MUST live in the Philadelphia area be able to pick up computer equipment in person in Philadelphia, PA

Job Responsibilities & Description for Remote Collections Customer Service Rep:

• Update collection systems to reflect action and result codes of each event
• Confer with students and co-makers by telephone in an attempt to determine the reason for overdue payments and to request payment
• Record information about the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts
• Notify co-signers of their obligations if debtors refuse to pay
• Explain the terms of the Linc Credit agreement and support documents with students and co-makers, as required

Job Requirements For Remote Collections Customer Service Rep

• Effective communication skills
• 1 -2 years of recent customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as financial aid documents, and produce correspondence
• Experience with Microsoft Office
