Job Description
Essential Functions And Responsibilities


Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:


  • Communicating with various individuals including retailers, distributors, and freight carriers as well as internal contacts such as sales, production planning, plants, finance, and transportation to service customer orders and inquiries.
  • Handling calls regarding everything from order placement and order confirmation to material availability, product information, and requests to rush orders.
  • Exercise strong listening skills and decision-making capabilities to resolve customer issues resulting quickly and effectively in superior customer satisfaction.
  • Provide back-up support within the team or swing capacity within the Customer Service Department


Qualifications


  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks at once.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to be proactive, take initiative, be accountable and possess a strong propensity towards change and process improvement.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • A commitment to consistently exceed the customer's expectations.
  • Excellent listening skills and problem-solving skills relative to customer inquiries.
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History
  • No less than 1 year of retail or call center customer service experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
  • Proficiency in operating a PC with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
