Job Description

The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for energetic, full-time and part-time Cocktail Servers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Cocktail Server, you will help enhance the guest experience by providing excellent service and care in every interaction.
If you have a passion for customer satisfaction and knowledge of wines, beer, and cocktails this Cocktail Server job is for you!
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

Minimum $10/hr - Maximum $11/hr

Minimum pay rate: $10.00 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Enters drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver to guests
  • Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Communicates drink specials, answers questions about available beverages and takes beverage orders
  • Greets guests on gaming floor and beverage outlets
  • Picks up drinks orders when ready and delivers orders to guests
  • Prepares and delivers check to guests

Qualifications

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand name

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, balance and carry trays, weighing up to 35 lbs
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
  • Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
