3rd shift-$20-25 per hour DOE

Must have 2 years of experience working as an E Coat Process Technician in an automotive manufacturing facility.
  • Electrocoating, also called E Coat, is a process by which electrically charged particles are deposited out of a water suspension to coat a conductive part. E-coat is a prevalent finish used in the automotive industry.
Description
The task of the process technician is to continuously check and modify operating parameters to satisfy the needs and deadlines of the manufacturing process. The Process Technician will work with the lab technician and shift supervisor to make sure all operating systems adhere to the output standards. These specifications might include things like system monitoring, filter replacements, pressure and flow adjustments, heat exchanger cleaning, data control recording, and data gathering. accountable for carrying out routine cleaning duties and 5S tasks.
Important Responsibilities
Operating systems should periodically be maintained as required.
Run the e-coat system (operate the conveyors, hoist, and loading racks, and enter the proper program), and react to process equipment alarms.
Help maintenance with PMs, when racks fall in the oven or come off the hoist while in process tanks.
Perform the E-Coat system's startup and visual examination.
Change the bag filters.
On the E-coat system, clean the UF filters or replace them.
Each day, the E-Coat system's working parameters are documented.
Help the E-Coat staff move, clean out, and refill the chemistry and rinse phases of the E-Coat system.
Prepare pickups for hazardous and non-hazardous trash.
Unload chemical totes as required after loading empty totes into the trailer.
For E-Coat, keep an eye on and tweak the cartridge loading mechanism.
Key Requirements And Qualifications
Must possess effective communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and a fundamental comprehension of process data gathering and control are required. Good judgment and the ability to multitask are also requirements.
Additional Details
KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent is needed. A post-secondary degree is preferred, but not required.
TECHNICAL TRAINING: Forklift Certification, EDP/Wastewater Analysis Chemistry Understanding
OTHER: Computer literacy and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
EXPERIENCE: manufacturing knowledge of the needs for process management at least one year
