ThinkChess is seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Classroom Coach for our Chess Clubs. If you have a love for chess, a talent for teaching, and a desire to nurture young minds, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the lead Chess Coach in conducting chess classes for students of all skill levels.
2. Demonstrate skills and techniques to inspire and motivate students.
3. Provide personalized attention and constructive feedback to students to aid in their individual growth.
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and develop their chess abilities.
5. Keep track of students' progress and maintain records of their achievements.

Qualifications/Skills

1. Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
3. Passionate about education and enthusiastic about promoting chess as a valuable learning tool.
4. Patience, dedication, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
5. Knowledge of child development principles and an understanding of the learning needs of young chess enthusiasts.
6. Punctuality and reliability in fulfilling coaching responsibilities.
