Serenity Lane drug and alcohol treatment center is seeking to add a full-time CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant to our highly-skilled crew at our Inpatient Care Facility located in Coburg, Oregon.

As a crucial part of an exceptional treatment team that includes physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, CNA’s and addiction counselors, RNs establish and document nursing diagnoses to serve as a basis for each patient’s plan of care, and aid in creating an environment conducive to each patient’s health and safety, through collecting and charting data by observing, examining, and interviewing patients.

Main Duties:

• Conducting urine screens and breathalyzer tests,
• CMAs may float to our residential unit to pass meds, take VS, CBGs etc. There is NO patient care in the residential setting.
• CMAs do NOT pass meds in the hospital unit.
• Minimal/occasional assisting patients with ADLs, meal pass
• Monitor patients during smoke breaks and other duties within your scope of practice.
• Assistance with admissions, discharges and transfers
• Taking vital signs

Required Qualifications:

• CNA Certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• CPR - Basic Life Support Certification
