The hours are 3 10-hours shift between 7am to 6pm, 1 7.5 hour shift from 11am to 7:30pm.

The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for staff development including orientation, in-services, continuing and mandated education for all levels of staff. Responsibilities included but are not limited to: conducting clinical rounds, identifying the individual and collective learning needs of staff, developing course curriculum and teaching classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting-edge technology (e.g., on-line learning modules and simulation). This role promotes best clinical practices and inspires award-winning nurses! Additionally, the CNV regularly evaluates staff competencies, and provides clinical mentorship and career guidance.
This is a full time position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. The position is 4-days a week. The hours are 3 10-hours shift between 7am to 6pm, and 1 7.5-hours shift from 11am to 7:30pm.
Required Criteria
- OB experience and some background in Nurse Educator experience
- Current NYS RN licensure
- BCLS and PALS certification
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education
