About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced patent foramen ovale (PFO)-Stroke Clinical Educator to join our Cardiac team. In this role, you will help drive therapy adoption; this role is key to Gore’s Cardiac commercial business success in the U.S. We are looking to leverage a Clinical Educator to help educate Physicians on PFO-stroke therapy and drive protocol changes to help identify the patients who would benefit from closure.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within western United States.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in coordination and execution of onsite/off site educational events
  • Partner with the business on developing an educational plan that provides a comprehensive learning plan to support the stroke team at the account
  • Drive therapy changes through high touch in person education to targeted accounts where patients are evaluated for cryptogenic stroke
  • Work cross functionally with Product Specialist, Marketing, and Medical Science Liaisons to create a comprehensive educational plan per account that meets the educational needs
  • Uncover at each account the clinical treatment pathways and educational needs including roadblocks to drive adoption of therapy
  • Manage and document in SalesForce customer activities to provide ability to drive Return On Investment on educational efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the United States
  • Proven establishment of a network that consists of General Cardiologists and Neurologists, as well as their associated staff
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience working with Cardiologists and/or Neurologists in an education or sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute education of healthcare professionals

  • Registered Nurse
This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
