St. John Community allows older adults to move through a continuum of care from residential living to skilled nursing, depending on the need. The Clinical Educator is primarily responsible for the orientation and continuing education of clinical staff who provide service in nursing at St John Community and will support the education needs of ancillary staff as requested. The Clinical Educator is also responsible for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
Qualifications
  • RN license required.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Previous management, and/or Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI), and/or staff development experience preferred.
  • Possess a Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited college, university, associate’s degree program, or diploma from an accredited school of nursing; Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Pennsylvania; Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with two years of experience as a RN; Must have been a Registered Nurse (RN) in a full or part-time status for at least one year in the provision of a long-term care facility service with a minimum experience of 200 hours; Must have an understanding of State and Federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, Quality Indicator/Measures reports, and quality improvement initiatives.
