Clinical Interns (Masters Of Counseling, Masters Of Social Work)

Internship is offered to graduate students for Counseling or Social Work that have completed all of their other requirements for their doctorate degree. They should also abide by the rules and regulations provided by the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC). They should also be keen to learn and take note of the things that they can learn during the training.

Here are some of their responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable in the different disciplines in psychology and types of therapy
• Support clients during emergencies
• Communicate effectively through verbal and written work
• Accept constructive feedback for strengths and areas of improvement
• Perform supervised individual and group counseling
• And more
• Provide assessments and intake reports and referrals

All throughout their training, they will be observed and supervised so we would know about their abilities and advice them on how to improve.
