Job Description
Position: Clinical Application Support Specialist
Location: Nashville, TN ( 4 days in Nashville Office + 1 day remote)

The Day-to-Day:
The Clinical Application Support Specialist at Matter Health will use their understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and processes to help the team research problems and find solutions. This Specialist will analyze software and database errors in a complex clinical environment.
Matter’s Clinical Application Support Specialist will be a subject matter expert in applications such as Salesforce and Athena. The idea of delivering clinical operational expertise by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end- users should be exciting to this person. Breaking down complex concepts for simple end-user comprehension and be proficient in documenting training materials, workflows diagrams, and system diagrams. You will be supported by the Director of IT (Information Technologies) and utilize your knowledge and reference manuals and company policies to perform essential duties.
  • Provide support during Go Lives and system upgrades
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management and end users
  • Assist in designing, building, and testing clinical applications
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Provide support for the testing of new and existing workflow and field incoming problem tickets and support calls for supported applications
  • Serve as an escalation point for difficult problems or complex inquiries and/or initiate service calls to vendors and following up on the completion of service
  • Identifies sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrences and maintains up-to-date knowledge base to troubleshoot faster repetitive problems
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of all clinical applications to serve as a subject matter expert on assigned project teams and department initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate application upgrades, work in coordination with learning for any needed training material
Requirements
What Leads to Success?
Requirements:
  • Experience with back-end operation and template creation
  • Deep understanding of clinical education trainings an associated process implementation
  • Experience delivering high quality support services in a healthcare- oriented IT support environment, achieving high level of user satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of physician office business practices, workflows, concepts, and terminology sufficient to support clinical applications
  • 3 years' experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and other clinical applications
  • Experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience
  • Travel up to 25% in our markets – current and future
