About The Role


We are looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join our rapidly expanding team. As part of the Sales Team, this position will have the opportunity to impact the growth of our business and support our ambitious goals for 2023 and beyond. As a clinical and technical expert, the Clinical Application Specialist will work closely with Marketing and Customer Success to drive adoption and demonstrate the value of our entire suite of products and solutions.


What You’ll Do


  • Perform pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales customer training for Osteoid’s full suite of products
  • Confidently present complex solutions in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Use Microsoft Teams to conduct effective online meetings
  • Drive to close sales by demonstrating understanding of current and long-term customer needs, proposing appropriate solutions to address identified customer needs, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment and close
  • Manage software trial licenses with prospective customers and manage the follow-up process
  • Provide market input and feedback to our Product Management and Marketing teams
  • Continuously look for upselling opportunities and expand footprint across existing install bases
  • Promote and drive product adoption and identity ambassadors to the products’ benefits and values

  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Strong work ethic with comfort in a dynamic environment where you are expected to move quickly and wear many hats
  • This role is remote, and will require occasional travel to events and tradeshows.
  • Strong presentation skills and demonstrated effectiveness presenting to key decision makers
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives on doing a job well and has the initiative and drive to excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and perform a variety of concurrent tasks


Qualities We Look For


  • 3D post processing experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Medical Devices or Medical Software is a plus
  • Proficient in medical and/or dental terminologies is a plus


Minimum Education And Experience Required


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Radiology, or equivalent. Or 5+ years of experience as a radiographer with CT or MRI experience, working in a clinical environment
