Clinic Medical Assistant(Float); M-F 8Am -5Pm; 80 Hours

Responsible for direct patient care and the assisting of the physician or mid-level practitioner.

This position will report directly to the Clinic Site Manager.

• Education
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization procedures.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
• BLS required
• Licensure/Certification
• Assist provider in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Assist with Clinic Receptionist duties as needed.
• Work Experience
• Takes patient histories and vital signs.
• Removing sutures and changing dressings.
• Prefer graduate of a Medical Assistant program. 2
• MA Certification preferred
• Minimum 1 yr. working as a medical assistant in a practice, preferred. Graduation from a medical assistant program may be substituted in lieu of the 1 yr. work experience.
• High School graduate.
• Assist with Medical Scribe duties as needed.
