Property Claims Examiner / Claims Adjuster
Location: Trinity, Florida
Department: Quality Assurance
  • Acquires and applies knowledge of dwelling construction terminology and techniques, estimating best practices and Xactimate estimates.
  • Reviews incoming moderate to complex residential and commercial property estimates for accuracy and compliance with carrier-specific guidelines.
  • Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophe events.
  • Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology.
  • Provides feedback to and collaborates with independent adjusters to correct estimates as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing residential estimates to carrier specific standards.
  • 3+ years of residential or commercial property claims experience.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
  • Requires an All Lines Insurance Adjuster's license. You must pass a licensing exam within a designated number of attempts or hold a current Texas All Lines Insurance Adjuster’s license, with the possibility to become licensed in all applicable states. Allcat will provide the study material and training environment to assist you with the licensing exam.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate in a Windows operating environment.
PREFERRED
  • Prior military experience.
  • College degree.
  • Experience using XactAnalysis and Xactimate.
  • Active adjuster’s License.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
WORK SCHEDULE Availability to work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Schedules may vary based upon business needs.
TRAINING SCHEDULE Licensing training will occur during the first week of employment. You must obtain your license within three testing attempts (paid for by Allcat).
  • Property & Casualty insurance industry products and services.
  • Licensing - obtain your license within 2 testing attempts (paid for by Allcat).
  • Employees that attend training are expected to meet Allcat’s established standards for performance, attendance and conduct.
  • Claims and specific insurance carrier processes, systems and technology.
