Job Description
You'll support the claims organization through prompt and professional administration services to both our internal and external customers. This is a remote position, reporting to our Claims Clerical Supervisor.
Compensation Minimum:$23.00 Hourly
Compensation Maximum:$23.00 Hourly
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
Essential functions to support our customers, business partners, and adjusters.
  • You'll answer and address incoming calls with the claims support phone line including: routing callers to the appropriate party, answering questions, and performing other administrative tasks to assist the caller. Update information within the claim system.
  • Research and compile information for adjusters (policy documents, disclosures, medical bills)
  • Verify claim payments to financial institutions. Issue monetary credits, and correct minor payment errors.
  • Set up new claims in the system.
  • Assist staff with the resolution of complex salvage sales and rental management.
  • Guide communication between adjusters, material damage staff, appraisers, vehicle repair shops, and appraisal partners to support claims appraisal workflows.
  • Assist adjusters through the management of designated technology to support goals and guidelines:
  • Be a technical expert for approved third-party evaluation company.
  • Communicate with lienholders; salvage vendors, and other associated parties involved in the disposition of total loss claims.
  • Process incoming claims mail, you'll help us sort, prep, scan, and index mail.
You'll bring the following education and experience to our team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Good communication skills including listening with compassion and understanding.
  • Self-motivated with great organizational skills
  • Call center experience, a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish), a plus
  • Proficient in a PC with knowledge of Microsoft applications
Must be willing to work a Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. CST schedule.
