Civil Engineer Proxy Jobs

GA Certification, a leading computer software company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The Civil Engineer will work closely with our development team to design, develop and manage the construction of new projects within the software industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the principles of civil engineering and experience with land surveying, material testing, and project management. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about software engineering and construction.

• Conduct material testing and soil analysis to ensure construction projects adhere to civil engineering standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with software developers and designers to ensure civil engineering standards and regulations are incorporated into software projects.
• Review blueprints, design documents, and environmental reports to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Design and plan construction projects, including building specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines for computer software products.
• Manage construction projects from conception to completion, including overseeing contractors and project schedules.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to regulatory authorities for approval.
• Conduct research on civil engineering trends and developments and integrate new technologies into construction projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of the principles of civil engineering and construction project management.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other technical drawings software.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the construction of computer software products.
