Execute JUWI’s civil design activities such as guiding the civil design approach of JUWI’s projects, selecting external consulting engineering firms, reviewing consultants’ work, while interacting with and supporting the Engineering, Project Development, and Construction teams at all stages of project completion. The Civil Engineer is a multi-faceted position requiring a capable professional with demonstrated experience in large-scale civil design and consultant management and you will have guidance and support from the Senior Civil Engineer as a mentor.

Permitting

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Professional Engineering license preferred
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• 4-6 years of civil design experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and organize work in an independent manner
• Knowledge of national civil design codes and requirements (ASTM, ACI, MUTCD, etc.)
• A team player with the desire to grow professionally
