We are URGENTLY searching for candidates as CISCO Network Engineers with experience in ACI and EVPN/VXLAN technologies.

🔥Our Client is transforming to an Agile mindset and methods, working in a DevOps model.

🔥The selected candidates will actively participate and contribute in the DevOps Network group, whilst collaborating with multiple DevOps groups across the Cloud Platform workgroups to provide the best in class service to our Client and their customers.

🔥Resources will be part of a team to support 24/7 operations. There is no regular plan for night work but engineers need to accept on-call scheduling.

Although remote work is expected and encouraged the following locations are preferred.

Positions in:

• St Leon Rot/Dresden - Germany
• Bangalore - India
• Newton Square, PA - USA

INFORMATION:

👊This is a Monday-Friday job.

👊Working hours are standard working hours, however, our client allows flexible working hours, in alignment with the responsible manager.

👊In some cases, it will be required to attend meetings or working sessions that are outside of the above-defined working times to have effective collaboration across the regional locations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Skills:

👉 Expert knowledge in Cisco ACI and EVPN/VXLAN technologies (3+ years of operational experience)

👉Strong competence in switching (ACI/NXOS), routers (IOS-XE, IOS-XR), and network security.

👉Expertise in network technologies such as BGP, HSRP, VRRP, Routing Domains, VLANs, VxLAN, VRF, etc.

👉High understanding of Cloud computing, IaaS, and hosted systems experience with SDN and virtualization technologies in the Network Area.

👉Strong abilities in developing network designs and concepts.

👉Strong network automation skills (Ansible, Python, Bash scripting).

Soft Skills:

👉Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and multicultural organization.

👉Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

👉Autonomous and proactive working behavior.

👉Strong leadership skills in coordinating and leading troubleshooting sessions

👉Basic Project Management and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Basics:

👉English language

👉Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent experience

👉Proactive/collaborative way of working

👉This is a long-term engagement with no termination date
