Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Network Engineer.


Location: Philadelphia, PA (Open to remote candidates but have to travel)


Travel to current markets deployed: Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, depends on location where deployment is


Terms: 1 year+


***W2 Only***


Will work In person at our client’s two lab locations: 90% of time in Bishops Gate, Mt. Laurel and 10% time at CTC in Philadelphia


What You Will Do:


ABOUT THE PROJECT

  • We work with 5g deployment
  • Backend is routing into the core, talks to the backend systems, provisioning systems OSS
  • Data driven, no voice products
  • From the headend there is a CDU that is MUX from Radio into the fiber and goes to the Radio; we are responsible for all Transport from headend – to radio up to a demarcation at radio site
  • Transition from one radio to another
  • We have Xfinity mobile that is deployed on the Verizon’s 5g network
  • We go into local markets
  • We are building and Offloading network to ensure some of the data is going onto our client's system
  • We deploy equipment in the headend that supports the front haul and backhaul of the 5g data

What We Need:

  • Experience configuring switches for routing and access control
  • Must know How to subnet, Subnet Mask
  • Experience configuring firewalls
  • Looking for a Network engineer
  • Experience with proxy servers, DNS, DHCP
  • Strong design and implementation from network perspective
  • Routing and switching strong IP based
  • Experience performing any scheduled upgrades, fault detection, finding root cause and getting it resolved
  • Experience with CRAN routers
  • We have Juniper Routers and a Ciena switch
  • Improve efficiency on how we are routing now
  • Looking for transparency, sharing with colleagues
  • Requesting IP
