Job Summary


The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Federal American Grill. The COO focuses on executing the company’s business plan, according to the established business model, while the CEO is more concerned with long-term goals and the broader company outlook.


Responsibilities

  • Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
  • Lead employees with an example and delegate responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
  • Communicate policies to employees, and help human resources build out core teams.
  • Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
  • Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision.
  • Complete performance reviews in a prudent manner.
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.
  • Oversee daily operations, Director of Operations, Culinary Director and the work of executives.
  • Create reports for management.
  • Work together with key participants to compile the budget.
  • Be a motivator for other employees.
  • Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success.
  • Take the lead in expansion activities.
  • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass guest satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
  • Design, plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Maintain relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaboration with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
  • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses.
  • Analyze and interpret data and metrics.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
  • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
  • 8+ years of proven success in a multi-unit Director of Operations role

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: From $120,000.00 per year
