Chief Operating Officer Jobs

Our client is a federally charged organization in charge of managing several other smaller entities in Hollywood, FL that is looking for a Chief Operating Officer.

The C.O.O. leads and manages the day-to-day operations and provides business support to the programs under the organization’s Executive Operations Office. The individual implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures all departments reporting to this Executive Office, including Building and Grounds, Media Productions, Tourism, RV Campground, Rock Pit, a Café, a Village, and some additional entities. The incumbent oversees and leads in the analysis, structure and development of alternative revenue opportunities, investments and locally owned businesses.

The ideal candidate would have:

• 10+ years of experience in developing, marketing or promoting business operations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Development, Marketing, Finance is required (Master's Degree strongly preferred)
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and business commercial laws and regulations is highly desirable
• An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered
• 3+ years of experience working in a senior leadership level is required
