ATG is looking for a Chief of Staff. Our client is a private investment firm, founded in 2001 that specializes in exclusive access to unique alternative investments. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and trustworthiness with a strong drive to succeed. PLEASE NOTE this is a prestigious firm that takes hiring seriously and is very methodical. They have a robust interview process in place that can take from 2-4 weeks to complete, depending on how quickly the candidate completes each phase. However, for the right candidate to join this firm, the rewards will be substantial.
Chief of Staff (“COS”)
We are looking for a Chief of Staff who has the drive to help our organization grow dramatically. The COS will serve directly alongside the Chairman to ensure the execution of business objectives across the organization. The COS is expected to help the firm enhance productivity in a strategic way and to deliver excellence in the following Key Responsibility Areas:
- Strategically prioritize the activities of the Chairman across departments to provide clarity and focus on the highest-value projects
- Drive initiatives that help the firm increase profitability and achieve business objectives
- Enhance the productivity of the Chairman and the organization by prioritizing and helping facilitate meetings, workshops, and task forces that will accomplish specific outcomes and key results
Success as a Chief of Staff will be measured by your ability to:
- Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
- Deliver to the Chairman insight and analysis on the company’s operations
- Collaborate with the Chairman and the Chairman’s EA to determine and prioritize business initiatives
- Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience in the investment field, with an understanding of both alternative and traditional investments
- Selfless team player, with a strong work ethic, who is willing to support the initiatives of the Chairman’s office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for a graduate degree and/or professional certification, such as the CAIA or CFA
- Capability to communicate with all stakeholders clearly and practically
- Keen strategic planning skills, with passion for expanding business potential
- Inherent process orientation, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
Compensation Structure:
- Quarterly bonuses based on the value added to the organization
- Guaranteed Compensation will be commensurate with experience
- Participation in the carried interest and incentive fees earned by the Firm, in addition to Profit Sharing and the opportunity to earn equity in the business
