Job Description

Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer (CFO/COO)

Our local client with 150+ years of service to the Portland community seeks a strategic, forward-thinking CFO/COO to join their passionate and mission-oriented team. This role offers an incredible opportunity to oversee and ensure the good standing of this organization, allowing others to continue to reap the benefits of their services and flourish in their personal lives. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing many hats and being hands-on with day-to-day operational duties.


Responsibilities

  • Support additional teams and facility operations as needed.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Ensure alignment with the organization's mission and financial goals.
  • Oversee loans/investments and prepare financial models.
  • Research, assess, and recommend changes to improve processes and compliance.


Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting/modeling, and budgeting.
  • 10 years of progressive accounting experience including 5 years of leadership/supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong business acumen and exposure to handling facility operations; non-profit experience preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with MS Office Suite and financial reporting software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
