County IT Strategist


  • ***Key Skills - Senior IT Project Managet with Vendor Management Skills; Compliance and regulatory managements ; Risk assessment; capital investment, and acquisitions
  • Hybrid Role- Richmond, VA (*at least 3 days/wk onsite required)


The IT Strategist supports top management in IT strategy formulation, IT strategic plans execution, strategic process improvements, and communication of IT strategies to all stakeholders. Analyze business performance, industry trends, existing or new regulatory requirements and their impact on IT operations; make recommendations on alternative courses of action, including risk assessment, capital investment, and acquisitions needed to align IT strategy with agency strategic plan. Requires advanced knowledge of strategic planning concepts and frameworks, business issues and concepts, research methodology, general management and financial analysis. Additionally, requires good interaction skills with senior management, with ability to articulate and defend recommendations made.
