Job Description
Enveda is looking for a Chemoinformatics Scientist to join our team!


The contribution you will make:


Are you a great visual translator of data? Are you particularly good at chemoinformatics and bridging data science with chemical structure and activity? If so then you’d be a great fit for our team that is leading the way in applying ML and AI to natural products-based drug discovery.

As a member of Platform Chemistry, you will work closely with and report to our VP, Platform Chemistry.


You get to collaborate on:


  • Developing new data analysis and visualization tools
  • Build protocols and workflows for data searching, sorting, and viewing based on molecular structure
  • Work and collaborate with Engineering on solutions to chemistry issues
  • Assist in computational chemistry and virtual screening efforts
  • Advocate for emerging computational chemistry, chemoinformatics, and data science technologies
Who will thrive in this role?


  • Experience in generating data analytics and visualizations (Spotfire, Python dash, R Shiny, or equivalent)
  • Experience with CDD Vault
  • 5+ years of relevant computationally-focused research within drug discovery
  • Proficient in programming (Python, R) and database operations (SQL)
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication skills

  • Experience with database design and processing (SQL/NoSQL, RestAPI, XML, json)
  • Experience with modern data modeling and mining libraries and toolkits for Python (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, pandas) or R (Bioconductor, ggplot)
