Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Chemical Process Technician I in Greenville, SC. Our client is one of the largest electroplating shops in the Southeast. They provide high standards on plating quality, detailed performance documentation and flexible logistics to meet the needs of domestic and international suppliers.
The CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNICIAN I Is Responsible For

• Must follow housekeeping and 5S activities.
• Chemistry adjustments as needed and chemical feed pump dosing.
• Monitoring all Production Lines.
• In charge of chemical containers used during the plating process.
• Responsible for logging process control problems into Zincit maintenance system

Job Requirements Of a CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNICIAN I

• Cleanliness of assigned work areas.
• Will dump tanks and rebuild or break down, as needed.
• Must not be afraid of heights, climbing or confined spaces.
• Weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance monitoring.
• Must be able to chart chemical processes and maintain range due to chemical additions.
• Equipment maintenance during or after plating process.
• Must have basic knowledge of monitoring and performing waste treatments.
• Must be able to meter pump verifications and perform calibrations as needed.

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• Chemical handling experience preferred.
• High School/ GED required.
