Charleston, Sc Family Seeking Full-Time Live-Out Nanny/Household Manager

CHARLESTON, SC (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Sweet SULLIVAN’S ISLAND family who have recently relocated to South Carolina from Chicago are seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 3 children; a 14-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old girl. They are seeking a local candidate who can help them learn the area while providing amazing care for their children and adding value to their lives.

Hours are 11 am - 7 pm with flexibility for nights and weekends. The childcare duties are mainly from 2 pm to 6:30 pm. Duties include picking the children up from school, taking them to after-school activities, ensuring the children are fed, doing children's laundry, picking up the house and keeping it tidy, helping with the dishes, and errands like Target runs. The family has a housekeeper who comes weekly, no deep cleaning is needed/expected.

The perfect candidate is a safe and experienced driver who is excited to be around older children and has an interest in sports/activities, and being a playful role model for the children. Mom and Dad both work from home. There is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever in the home. Pet lover would be amazing and would love the candidate to help with the dog if capable. The family will provide a vehicle for use while working and candidates must be safe drivers.

The nanny needs to be comfortable being around water and possibly swimming with the children. Mom travels for work so the candidate will need to be comfortable caring for the children while she is traveling. A candidate who is familiar with the area would be ideal!

Prefer covid vaccinated candidates. Benefits include PTO + sick days + paid holidays. Start date is 9/28/23. Pay is $30/hr gross.

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
